		<description>What would you do if you had 10 hours warning before an earthquake?  I think the early warning would be awesome - if you know your house has a chance of being leveled, you could at least get your most precious items - baby books, photo albums, computer, passports, financial documents. Survivors are always pictured at their collapsed houses saying in disbelief, "There's nothing left." It would be such a gift to let them get that one essential thing before the disaster. 

I am trying to imagine such a warning being given in San Francisco. Would everyone just head for Golden Gate park??? I would sure as hell not want to be on one of the bridges leaving town...</description>

At least with a hurricane you typically have a couple days or more to evacuate.
