Right on!

Filaments, filaments and more filaments! Plasma cosmology, here we come! More-or-less.

Recent stories have also noted filaments of PLASMA connecting galaxy clusters, galaxies born along filaments of PLASMA like beads on a string, filaments of PLASMA connecting the Milky Way to the Large Magellanic Cloud and beyond, stars arranged in filaments in the outer and/or inner Milky Way Halos, twisted filaments (Double-Helix Nebula) in our own galaxy, Filamentary "magnetic flux ropes" connecting the sun and Earth in a 650,000 Amp electrical circuit, "flux tubes" / "electron beam" connecting Io to Jupiter in a million Amp current, to the multimillion amp auroras, etc.

The magnetic fields are simply byproducts of electric currents in plasma. Look up the relationship between magnetic fields and electric currents. They go hand in hand, the former being byproducts of the latter. Good times!
