I agree. This is spooky, how it resonates with us on an emotional level. We don’t always think of the Stone Age as fraught with emotion, but of course, humans everywhere suffer and mourn. How amazing to have this glimpse of their world.

It’s a little bit surreal how immediately we identify with this slaughtered family of farmers. Almost everything about their lives would be almost unrecognizable to us, but their essential humanity and the perceived injustice of their deaths is apparently timeless.
