Though he cannot actually see, his eyes are physically intact and working.  The strokes merely caused him to lose the ability to use his eyes.  In a way, he is getting the same information you or I would, but since he cannot use it correctly it helps him subconsciously.  So yes, in a way you do have blindsght, but you see it as actual site.  lucky you.</description>
