Sometime in the 70's I read a few books by T.J.Bass (THE GODWHALE and HALF PAST HUMAN ) that treated with the growth of human populations and the implications of our unchecked appetite for all in the biosphere. The science and biology he used in his books was of a very high standard. The nightmare he depicted so long ago seems to be coming true. Has anyone else had the pleasure of these books?

"But I guess that’s progress, survival of the most powerful, fittest, strongest and/or smartest!"

Bull****, short-sighted nonsense. Providing a jusification for idiocy is, itself, idiocy.
