That&#039;s because the selective pressure for sickle cell trait would have been seriously culling the African (in particular) genetic diversity.</description>

If we just taught creationism, the world would be 5000 years old and malaria would just be a human disease, and chimpanzees could go back to being cuddly mammals we keep in the zoo to throw rocks at, instead of these horrible disease dealing critters we&#039;re now going to have to eradicate, because who knows what they&#039;re going to poison us with next.
