if we could get pictures of objects 10 yrs away except the glare of the star will would be in hog heaven, but sadly we can barely get pictures of the moons around Saturn from lands based optical equipment

YouRang, you confuse a solid planet such as Mercury or Mars with a very bloated gas giant. Doubtful there is anything resembling a “surface” on it, just a gradually increasing density of gas.

What’s the perhelion and aphelion? Surely with such odd parameters, it must be locked either with one surface constantly to its sun or in a 3/2 orbit like Mercury with one of 2 surfaces toward its sun at perihelion. That would make for unusual shake and bake.
