I couldn’t find any useful stats on sharks. But I will guess perhaps a population world wide of 1 million sharks. I have no idea where I get that number, but if anything it’s high, considering 1 million is rather large for such a large mammal. In fact, it’s probably FAR lower for the “big” sharks.

But the point rather is that

1 million/ 6 billon = 1/6000th of a shark’s food for each of us. That’s if we kill all the sharks.

I suspect that the “Golden Gate Bride” reference is supposed to be “Golden Gate Bridge”. Otherwise the snacks they are searching for would be quite the surprise for the wedding party!
