It is an amazing procedure, though it should be noted the trachea was only in the woman’s arm for 4 months before being transplanted not for two years as reported here.

That is amazing! A windpipe made to grow in the arm and then moved to it’s place-looks like a medical miracle. The most fatal risk in an organ transplant is of reaction from the receiver’s body.
