So, what about sunspots being the &quot;fire from the skies&quot; in the Mayan countdown calender, culminating in cataclysm in 2012? Those wacky Mayans made sophisticated calculations that lead to an incredibly accurate calender. Maybe they incorperated flare activity in their projections too. I am high :)-</description>
