I don’t care if it’s a meter (or a yard +3 and a bit inches) thick… if it can stop the bass from my neighbor from getting through at 4:00am I am sold! Plus I run a business selling latex sheeting, so I can even help supply the manufacturer!

I bet it takes a long time to ever reach the mainstream of sound insulation though. Dang!
