Stephen Hawking must be on the verge of doing cartwheels. Ditto for the LHC team. Poised to take another giant leap for mankind, it must be hard for them. Not so much the challenge of the beams meeting, but knowing that most people are more interested in who’s meeting who this week on Desperate Housewives.
