Why does all the media push Facebook on us as if Myspace doesn’t exist? Myspace came first, is far less intrusive, more organized, and doesn’t force you to use your real identity. I have a Facebook account, but unless someone posts something for me to poop on, it’s really boring. At least on Myspace I can listen to music while browsing through strangers’ photo albums. Facebook is such a waste, it should be called FECEbook.

Once Facebook gets this geotagging app, expect it to be like Foursquare on crack…I’m not going to use it unless it offers promo activity. http://generationnerd.weltbranding.com/ has a good description of what we can expect.

Facebook already has this “check-in” feature, I have at least one facebook friend using it right now, however his appeards to be voluntary. Just another reason why not to have an iPhone.
