Cost our US companies billions of dollars while simultaneously making the EPA stronger? Don't mind if I do says High Chancellor Obama. Don't get me wrong, emissions need to be reduced. But this will happen on its own as we gradually switch to renewables. Maybe if business was booming we could afford it. Meanwhile China is churning out enough toxic smog to choke out any American city, and I'm pretty sure they aren't regulating. But don't worry, I'm sure they will stop the smog from leaving China, or getting into the upper atmosphere. Doesn't anyone realize what "shut down a power plant" means?!
