I am really happy to see this for i have best friends like nur,sham,i myself who were worried about their daily going hairs, i think mine is probably related to stress as i lost it during my stay in GCMS,sorry about that.

looks to me the mouse (such a cutie) got fat too as its hair grows back. maybe i am being paranoid.

One of my stress signs has always been that my hair starts falling out with more frequency. Now I have scientific evidence that I’m not crazy and this actually happens. So glad I quit my super-stressful job in 2009 and found something a lot less baldness-inducing.

Well these mice had a genetic defect too. So it seems more than possible that human genetic baldness is due to an excessive sensitivity to CRF. I know that I and my dad have both had a lot hair at 60, but I have a CRFR mutation on one of my chromosomes. and I had to start using minoxidil at 50. If the aberrant gene is the gene my mom’s dad had, I’m happy I’ve got hair at 50 to protect with Minoxidil. And that seems likely since he and my mom and I have had fine hair instead of my dad’s thick hair.

I agree with Dr George Cotsarelis: This might be a treatment/cure for stress-induced baldness, but not for genetic baldness. I really hope Dr Cotsarelis and I are wrong, though.
