If a mosquito first gets a blood meal from one individual with a normal to high level of intracircular Vitamin C, would this provide enough of the free radical antagonist to the mosquito's gut to allow reinvigoration of the parasite? If the parasite is truly killed, this would not be a concern. But, knowing mosquito anatomy and typical parasite levels, I bet we need to figure on including a Vitamin C agonist such as an alkali (high pH).
