@555 – I don’t think you get the point of this. discovery. If we can program a wet computer based on DNA, then we can build injectable or programmed DNA to fight disease. Take a look at Sangamo Biosciences and their ZFP/ZFN platform for modifying the genome. The power of that technology combined with something like this will allow us to extend life, eliminate disease and make the world a better place.

great achievement. but this will be a lot costlier than the current technologies as you can get logic that can compute the root of 15 in less than a second(ones that you can build yourself) within 2 dollars. consumers are worried about efficiency, power consumption, cost and accuracy instead of radical tech that takes hours to compute a simple problem
