Yes!
We have consort males, providing for and jealously guarding their mates. We have sneaker males knocking on any door they can. Also sneaker females going for a door knock! As a result we have 10% of the children born are not related to their 'fathers' (DNA testing has demonstrated this in North America). The situation is so bad that the US courts have ruled on it using the past practice of providing shelter to ones supposed children overrules the disgust and betrayal when DNA testing proves false paternity.

Also, sperm competition wise - The human penis has that 'German Helmet' appearance because it compresses going in and expands coming out, this is a 'pump' designed to extract previous sperm deposits.

Evolutionary wise - We didn't evolve monogamous.

In some documentary on these squids these ‘sneaker’ squids were using some other tactics to come close to the female without being attacked by the consort. They pretend to be female squids, and most of the consorts were tricked this way.

I think it was a different species of squid. (Cuttlefish also have sneaker males that pretend to be females).
