I’ve lived in the Midwest and if you had told me there was any chance for a major earth quake I would have never believed it. If there was a major quake like the 1811 one it would be devastating.

It didn’t stop at the border, you know. It was felt up into Canada along the Canadian Shield, about 200 km further north than the article indicates.

I’ve only driven thru Cape G and have no comment there, but some of the towns I have seen a big quake would do several $100,000 worth of improvements…… ;))
