Are these the same assassin bugs that stalk people in Costa Rica? My daughter is studying there and was required to get a mosquito net to protect against assassin bugs, not mosquitos.

I think we here in Canada need some definative research on how black flies choose their prey and devour it.
I volunteer to run the study for a paltry 500.000/year.
Expected to run another 10 years or so.
