While covorting arount the Panamint Mountains in Death Valley National Park I came upon a cholla cactus. I wanted to take a picture of it. The light was perfect, only there was this gummed up old spider web on it with this and that stuck to it. I figured I'd just peel off the spider web and take the perfect photo. Well that old spiderweb stretched like a rubber band and when it let go it came back with clusters of spines right into the back of my hand. Got to hand it to spiders, they have game when it comes to chemistry.
