Drones can be a nuisance, because of the noise, invasion of privacy or direct danger if one happens to hit you. They are also convenient terrorist weapons, as USA has already proved. One scary scenario is if someone sends off a few model planes with radar reflectors making them look much bigger one night during the Olympics. The drones may do no harm, but there are anti-aircraft missiles around London at that point, and if security misunderstand the situation and launches missiles, then who knows where the debris from those will land?
