		<description>To add to the previous post a little research indicates there was serious unrest in Bali in 1262 or thereabouts which caused the Javanese ruler Kratanagara to &quot;pacify&quot; the local population. You can see Rinjani from Sanur and various other locations on Bali so if it did erupt at that time Bali would have suffered greatly. Nothing like hunger to spark unrest! If this is true there should be historical verification from Java which would also have been severely affected. The Modjapahit ruled at the time and there are at least some written records.</description>
