It's actually more probable that we're wrong since we haven't studied that many systems comparably. We shouldn't even be finding it as often as one time already, given that we've only been looking for a few decades. One or even a handful of instances doesn't invalidate the current hypothesis. Point being we are sometimes too eager to assume significance in an unusual discovery instead of just attributing it to statistics. Will be interesting to see the results as they analyze more stars.
