If any of them had special powers Randi would have died of a mysterious ailment decades ago. I hope he lives to 100! Grumpy he may be, but we need such fiesty codgers to put the WOO WOO sharlatins in their place. I went to a lecture the other night where Sir Roger Penrose was talking about the Big Bang and his theory about what he thinks happened before the Big Bang. (don't ask me to explain what he said, I am not a physisist. I am a bad speller/) The person introducing him said that Sir Penrose wanted to make it clear that he wasn't an IDer. The thunderous applause was hear warming. Yes, the talk was fasinating. I bought his book and got it autographed. I plan to read it and if I understand 1/10th of it I'll be lucky.
