Radio interview at 7:00 a.m. Pacific time

‘

Hey– if you’re dying to hear the sound of my voice, and wondering what I sound like dissing astrology, egg-standing, and Intelligent Design– then point yer browser to WVOX and listen in at 7:00 a.m. Pacific time (10:00 Eastern, 14:00 Universal Time). I’ll be talking about that and more for an hour with Bob Lebensold on his "Environmentally Sound" show.’

    Cool! Thanks for the heads-up.

You ought to give better prior warning…I was busy posting about pregnant women and safety pins during solar eclipses. I missed it–it’s 10:00 here. Is it saved and replayable? You know everybody’s just dying to hear your voice! 0-)

Oh, duh, it says a.m…well, that’s no good either.

7:00 a.m.?! People actually wake up that early?

Ok fine, just keep it down, I’ll still be in slumberland.

You didn’t miss anything special, just the usual diatribe by another narrow minded elitist in the mold of Randi.

And we all know you’ve got an axe to grind with Randi from your previous posts here, right? Please, just take your bitterness at whatever somewhere else.. maybe channel it to improve your shows perhaps? :-)

I missed it. I was too asleep to listen to it. I’m sure it was great.

Three cheers for narrow-minded elitists! I’m an elitist, myself: I think elites are so great that everybody should be part of one. Let’s call it the elite of molecules that can think.

I wish WVOX archived their broadcasts, but it doesn’t look like they do. At least, I can’t find any archive audio on their site. You know, once our friend the BA has done enough shows, we could break out the sound-editing software and make a “greatest hits” compilation. Bad Astronomy, the album!

Yeah, yeah, copyrights, forms of release, payment distributions to radio stations. . . Don’t ruin my dream before I have a chance to post it!

Hey, Bill P., can you read my cards and let me know if it’s going to be a great stargazing night for me Saturday? I wouldn’t want to have to pay for a campsite and not even use it. Thanks. ;-)

I only could listen for a few minutes (one segment), being at work and all. It was great. Sound quality was excellent and Phil did a great job. Some of the questions where a little silly but Phil handled them with aplomb (I got the segment that included comments on astronomy vs. astrology).

Phil: You should’ve said that the gravity effects of the obstetritian have a much bigger influence on you than all of the planets combined!
