BABLog lite

Folks, my apologies. A massive deadline at work (grrr, do not get me started) has been eating up my life, both at work and away, so my blogging will be light for the next couple of days. I’ll write what I can, when I can.

    If your busy at work, this should cheer you up, or make you cry not sure which. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12440797/site/newsweek/

    I’ve been reading since Bitesize Astronomy was coming out about once a week. This blog still feels like a luxury. No complaints from me!

    You’ve got an awesome blog going; I’ve been reading since God knows when, I first found out about Phil Plait through googling about the Moon Hoax,(approx. 2003) one of my friends was convinced it was a hoax, so I googled and found you! He’s still not entirely convinced though. Imagine that!

    My point here is, if you’re busy, you’re busy. Keep doing that good work that you do. We’ll see you when you get back.

    Deadlines I can appreciate. Don’t worry, we’ll be here when you get back. (-:

    As Douglas Adams sez, “I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.”

    Oh, do I know deadlines!
    Had many to deal with in my years of naval service. Got worse when I was put in charge of the calibration of items.
    Somehow, I got through it.

    Phil,

    I’m quite frankly amazed that you’re able to post as often as you do. I’ve tried keeping personal journals no less than five or six times in my lifetime and have never managed to get beyond 3 or 4 entries. Can I have some of your discipline?

    Forget discipline; can I have some of your audience? (-;

    That’s all right. Due to a deadline, I haven’t been reading it much recently…good timing. Let’s coordinate these every time :)

    • About Bad Astronomy

      Phil Plait, the creator of Bad Astronomy, is an astronomer, lecturer, and author. After ten years working on Hubble Space Telescope and six more working on astronomy education, he struck out on his own as a writer. He's written two books, dozens of magazine articles, and 12 bazillion blog articles. He is a skeptic and fights the abuse of science, but his true love is praising the wonders of real science.
