Links for "Earth Changes" listeners

I’ve decided to make it a bit easier on listeners coming in from the "Earth Changes" radio show, and put a list of links here where you can have easier access to the info we’re talking about on tonight’s program. If I get a chance, I’ll update this page with new info live as we do the interview!

Will there be IRC or chat going on during the show? If so, where?

Heh. It’s over now. There was a room with a few folks in PalTalk, but that’s it as far as I know. Sorry.

Someone ought to let the man know that Phil’s surname rhymes with the dish you put on the dinner table, not the ~splat~ of a bad joke. (Why Phil did not correct him when he did this more than once is beyond me.)

It went fine, imo, however the man needs to have on a solar physicist, as well as learn the pronounciation of people’s names. I felt he (the host) was a bit more concerned with talking about what interested him most, not what Phil had to offer, but then that was just my overall impression. It wasn’t the best interview I’ve heard of Phil’s, but that wasn’t Phil’s fault.

I still think the funniest is the one with Chris (is Chris right?). :-) )

    World Ends on Thursday…

At least, it does if you believe this guy…

Phil Plait, the creator of Bad Astronomy, is an astronomer, lecturer, and author. After ten years working on Hubble Space Telescope and six more working on astronomy education, he struck out on his own as a writer. He's written two books, dozens of magazine articles, and 12 bazillion blog articles. He is a skeptic and fights the abuse of science, but his true love is praising the wonders of real science.
