« NASA denies comet will destroy the Earth!
Where over the world is Hubble? »

Sirius Radio interview today!

I’ll be on the radio once again, this time on Wednesday evening (tonight!) on Sirius satellite radio. It’s part of the Are We Alone radio show (from the SETI folks).

The show tonight will be on Discovery Channel Radio Sirius channel 119 at 9:00 p.m. EST, and then repeated on Sunday at 11:00 p.m. EST.

I’m talking about this nonsense of a comet hitting the Earth on May 25. Check the blog archives for the many entries I’ve already written about this (including last night’s!).

Aw shucks, missed it…fell asleep. I would have like to have heard David Darling, too, because I use his Astro encyclopedia quite often (though the Mercury link wasn’t working when I really needed it.) It’s always nice to hear the voice behind a site. Since the Podcasts are archived, I guess we can catch it later. Hope it went well.

Someone corrected me recently: Seth needs to change his times to Daylight Savings Time-EDT, CDT, PDT, and so on. But it will be correct eventually. :-)

[trying to figure out this demonic spam filter]

    Ok….

So, it doesn’t like links: *a href=”http://www.daviddarling.info/encyclopedia/M/Mercury.html”*The Encyclopedia of Astrobiology, Astronomy and Spaceflight*

I’m looking forward to hearing it on sunday if I have Channel 119. I have Directv, does that help?

Phil Plait, the creator of Bad Astronomy, is an astronomer, lecturer, and author. After ten years working on Hubble Space Telescope and six more working on astronomy education, he struck out on his own as a writer. He's written two books, dozens of magazine articles, and 12 bazillion blog articles. He is a skeptic and fights the abuse of science, but his true love is praising the wonders of real science.
