The two 'ironic' parts of your reaction are not mutually exclusive to one another. It's unfortunate that some (scary; most?) people on both sides of this mess seem to think so...

Keep up the good work guys. Keep chipping away at ID/Creationism and it will fall.

and now for some irony - My first reaction was "Thank God sense & science has won this round" - go figure eh

RSR makes a very good point. The issue is not resolved. Regardless of the results in November the Board appears to be headed into good hands. However, there is another election in 2years, and some of the current moderates will be facing reelection then against another round of conservatives. The IDers won't sit idle, they'll be setting up the next round of candidates (stealth or not), so it is important that the voters of Kansas be aware next time.

And that goes elsewhere, too. Look to your local elections to follow the issues in your hometown, home state, etc.

Oh, no! Another Joshua! Confusion ensues! May have to switch back to my usual net nicknames if these keeps up. ;)

Anyway, a slim victory is still a victory. Under the circumstances, I'll take it.

Thanks for the link, but I'll reiterate Jon Fleming's point, I am not RSR. Thoughts from Kansas would never try to step on RSR's toes.
