Just a quick shout out to my old friend Andre Bormanis, who is guest-blogging this week at the Planetary Society Blog.
I met Andre years ago when he gave a talk at Goddard Space Flight Center, where I worked. He was the science advisor for Star Trek (I gave him a copy of a Hubble image with a decidedly Star Trek feel to it), and later became a writer for "Enterprise". Then he made a very smart decision, and gave me a tour of the set. To this day it is still one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Anyway, beam on over to the PSB and give it a read.

In my world at the moment, a beautiful crescent Moon is hanging in the sky.
When did he write that? The date says today, but the moon is nearly full
Ok, that was extraordinarily picky
Cool article. thanks.
I have often wondered whether human astronauts are something that we need more of, less of, or none of. I’m looking forward to the future installments of the article.
