On notice!

If only…

Of course, I removed "black hole at center of galaxy" from the list. What does Stephen have against it, anyway? If he invites me on his show, I’ll take him on about this!

Hat tip to PZ for this.

I hope one or more of those individuals were watching. :)

Oops, forget it. Just saw PZ’s take on it.

Still, it’d be great to see this really happen!

What? No space for Pharyngula? Or Hal Bidlack? C’mon, BA; you’re losing a step here…

I thought the “On Notice” board was for making over-the-top attacks on things and people with which the audience was sympathetic (or which are just chosen weirdly, like black holes and bears).

Can somebody please explain what this is about to non-US readers like me? I’m stumped.

What is this about? All I see is a list of names most of whom I’ve never heard of. More information needed here.

Most of those people are known propigators of the Apollo Moon Hoax.

Hoagland is known for his nonsense about Mars.
Edwards claims to “speak” to the dead (or something like that).

    Creationists….enough said.

I think someone needs to explain who Stephen Colbert is. (I don’t watch his show often enough to fill in all the details, but he is basically a send-up of all the right-wing idiot news/talk show hosts on Fox, etc.)

Stephen Colbert is the host of The Colbert Report.

    Here’s the wiki.
