In Europe it is customary to list the date in the format Day/Month/Year instead of our sequence of M/D/Y. So for the European Space Agency 8-1-07 means the 8th day of the 1st month in 2007.

A quote from the link confirms that, &quot;The next transmission of the ESA TV Service will be: 08-Jan-07&quot;

Don&#039;t feel bad. I was quite confused the first several times I visited bulletin boards hosted outside the U.S.</description>
