Bloggies 2007

As a blogger, I would be remiss not to mention that the Bloggies 2007 weblogs award nominations are now open. Voting is open until Wednesday, January 10 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern (U.S.) time.

Like last year, there is no science category. I guess there just aren’t any good blogs about science that can provide an exciting race for a weblog award! Oh well.

If nominated, I will not run a campaign like I did before. Promise. :-)

Uh, oops. I nominated you in the ‘Best Topical Blog’ category on Tuesday. Hope you don’t mind. :)

When the last one was so much fun?

I enjoyed every minute of your last campaign. Bring back the dirty tactics!

Done! And I second Raira :-D any voting campaign gains its flavor from the dirt and smear tactics!

I third Raira on this one. So I nominated Pharyngula for Best Topical Blog and nominated both of you for a few other categories (Most Humorous, I think).

And may Cute-thulhu eat the winner first!

With all of these 21st Century Blog List Wars going on right now, I forsee a battle of what is the best blog list of the year.

Hey! I agree with Raira’s Opinion and Second Howard’s nomination. The last campaign was a lot of fun.

Perhaps the “squishy one” wilt do battle with thee again??? Thus do we show the common herd how a real blog gets down and dirty. Ah, scientists, the real road warriors,,,

Instead of you and PZ taking votes from each other we should try uniting forces somehow to at least get some science blog or another up a few positions. Flip a coin with PZ or go best of three with the “rock.. paper…” thing.
