Did you see this blog entry about someone solving his million dollar challenge?

    Great program there.
I never knew Randi was based out of Fort Lauderdale; that’s my home town!

It’d be interesting to see how well the group does going on the offensive with pychic frauds. Indeed, the word needs to get out about the John Edward’s and Sylvia Browne’s of the world. I’m afraid my dad and one of his brother’s buy into Edward’s claims. Quite a shame.

    • About Bad Astronomy

Phil Plait, the creator of Bad Astronomy, is an astronomer, lecturer, and author. After ten years working on Hubble Space Telescope and six more working on astronomy education, he struck out on his own as a writer. He's written two books, dozens of magazine articles, and 12 bazillion blog articles. He is a skeptic and fights the abuse of science, but his true love is praising the wonders of real science.

"Reading this book is like getting punched in the face by Carl Sagan. Frightening, but oddly exhilarating."
