Is It Real? is a program on the National Geographic tv channel. There do not appear to be digital copies on the website to download.

I do not see a way to order a copy of the program listed on the website, but you might email them.

Was wondering if you could help me find this “Life on Mars” bit? When I followed the link, I was only been able to find a short, 2 min. video relating to this topic. I’d like to see it, but myself do not have cable tv. Is it posted anywhere else?

The absolute worst part was the pre-retrofitting done by Browne’s manager. Maybe it was some other child she saw, not Hornbeck. She has just given Sylvia two free ‘hits’. If/when a child is abducted by a hispanic, and if/when a child’s body is found in woods near rocks. Words fail me.

Mike– Randi is a dear friend of mine, I just got back from his annual convention, and he’s been on TV slamming Sylvia Browne which is an extremely rare event for the MSM. That’s why there have been so many posts.

I saw the segment last night and was glad that Anderson showed how outrageous this is (I felt he treated Randi with way more respect than Larry King did). I loved it when in the midst of Browne’s manager was spewing that garbage about Randi being an Atheist makes his points invalid that Anderson jumped in to defend Randi (since he didn’t get to say much himself) saying to her, “So since I’m asking questions too, that also makes me a non-believer?” or something to that effect. Yeah! I am glad skepticism was brought out in the public eye as a GOOD thing for once. And also that Atheists and people of all religions have a right to question this garbage about psychics and expose it for exactly what it is and what it is not.

I only wish Randi could have had more time to talk. I have got my grandmother (a Christian) very interested in Randi and this debate. She was cheering by my side for skepticism and science last night. At least it was cathartic for us!

Well, Browne’s manager did her job in preventing Randi from getting a word in edgewise. Not only that, but by presenting such obviously fallacious arguments she almost assured that his time would be spent addressing such comments and not tearing apart Sylvia’s reputation. The charade continues.
