Among other things academic, I teach an ongoing course called “Our Glorious Universe” to retired professionals through our continuing ed program and utilize many of the posted photograhs as background. “The Beautiful Universe” will provide much more background with which to enhance the course.

Phil, If you need help getting a random number, I suggest this book. It has received mixed reviews, but I think you'll get use out of it.
