I like to refer to myself as a carnivore(mainly because it really agravates the dedicated veggie freaks in the audience) conviently ignoring my proclivity for corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and watermelon. Hey, when trying to be irritating, it helps to ignore conflicting evidence. Which is exactly what these woo-woos do. I fully expect that at least 50% of the woo-woo audience say crap just because they know it will irritate a rationalist and nothing is more fun than baiting someone and watching them froth at the mouth.

I used to have an acquaintence who consistently took the opposing side in any argument, just so he could piss me off,,,and he was REALLY good at that.
I remember him fondly, because he essentially immunized me against that tactic from other people. I like to think I'm now a better debater for having had that unpleasant experience. Thanks, Jimbo, where ever you are,,,
