Of course I’m Mal Reynolds. I already know Serenity is my best fit. But Wash is probably closer to who I really am.

And what is it with me being rated as Captain all the time? IRL the crew would mutiny in about three minutes.

Yeah, right there with ya Phil. I’m usually Mal, or Wash.

And being a good browncoat, you probably already know about the “Brownquotes” generator.

“IRL the crew would mutiny in about three minutes.”

I’d probably start a mutiny in about 90 seconds, Phil. :)

I came up as Mal too…sweet!

I always wind up Zoe. Always. It makes me wonder a lot of things about myself, really. I never follow orders!

Still, she does have one of my favorite scenes in the whole show. (At the end of the one wher Mal and Wash get kidnapped by Scary German Guy, and she and Mal do the painfully awkward flirting. Classic!)

Hmmm…is the ‘Verse ready for a female Mal? I’m not sure I have the legs for it, really. But the numbers don’t lie!! (80%, gorrammit!!)

  8. 8.   Kaptain K Says:
    April 6th, 2007 at 7:32 am

Since I have never seen the show and haven’t a clue about who is who (thus having no temptation to try to “be” one character or another), I’m probably the perfect “control” for this little bash. Anyhoo, for what it’s worth:

    You are Derrial Book (Shepherd)

FYI, a “shepherd” is a kind of pastor/priest…

I’m Zoe! Cool, though I identify more with Kaylee or Dr. Samantha Carter on SG-1.

I got Captain Reynolds 90% — but also 15% Reaver at the bottom of the list. (What question was it that gets those Reaver points?) :D

When I took this some days ago I came up 90% Kaylee Frye, 85% Malcolm Reynolds, then Zoe and River after that. We must all have a little Reaver in us. ;-)

  17. 17.   nancy Says:

I’m Kaylee! and then 65% Captain????
Makes me feel a bit old; I remember watching the actress in “Flash Forward” when my daughter was young.

  18. 18.   Josie Says:

There’s no question about beating up Pseudoscientists. That’d be a dead givaway.

It’s not too surprising there’s no Jaynes around here, though.

  19. 19.   Amanda Says:
    April 6th, 2007 at 11:28 am

    I’m 80% Kaylee and 75% Wash… my two favorites. :)

Though… 30% Reaver. I think it’s because, while I answered definitely not to “are you a cannibal” I answered definitely yes to “are you crazy?” and only kinda no to “do you enjoy hurting people”.

I have the urge to watch the show again… it was so gorram awesome. :D

Stowaway? River wasn’t a stowaway. If anything, she was cargo. Telepathic cargo.

I came out as the Doc, with Capt Reynolds as a close second. Makes sense to me,,,

River was far, far more than mere cargo, a telepathic warrior of exceptional ability. My kinda woman,,,

    You scored as Moya (Farscape).

OMG, I’m Zoe. The problem with Firefly was that it aired on Fox. If Joss had spent more time talking about how great George Bush had been, the show might have been saved.

  29. 29.   Steve Raine Says:
    April 9th, 2007 at 10:19 pm

… Or ruined completely more like! ;-)

  30. 30.   Steve Raine Says:
    April 9th, 2007 at 10:26 pm

It was definitely an awesome show though and well worth saving. Although licking Bush’es boots the way those reject Reavers of Fox do is far too high price to pay for anything!

Ah, ‘Firefly’ : Great characters, great dialogue, great world creation only .. well, why _was_ just about every planet so much like the Wild West of North America circa 1880 … ?

Oh, if anyone cares, I got to be Mal too – with 0 % reaver & also 0 % a lot of others – after what seemed an awefully short quiz .. Maybe I missed some questions, somehow, might go back & try again.

  31. 31.   Steve Raine Says:
    April 9th, 2007 at 10:50 pm

Hmn … Went back & realised I had to scroll down. D’oh! (Maybe I’m Homer Simpson.) Thentried topost this &failed (ithink …)so am trying again.

Anyway, this time I was Mal Reynolds again but with a lot more of *all* the others too :

    Malcolm Reynolds (Captain) = 80%

Derrial Book (Shepherd) = 75% (Hmm. Don’t believe in God, but do read the Bible explains that one I guess.)

Dr. Simon Tam (Ship Medic) = 70%

    Zoe Washburne (Second-in-command) = 55%

Kaylee Frye (Ship Mechanic) = 50% (Seems overly high %~age to me!)

    Jayne Cobb (Mercenary) = 45%

    River (Stowaway) = 45%

A Reaver (Cannibal) = 40% (Ditto! Pretty sure I answered ‘No’ to ‘cannibal’ then again I did use maximum ‘yes’ for crazy!)

    Alliance = 35%

    Wash (Ship Pilot) = 25%

    Inara Serra (Companion) = 20%

    In case y’were curious …
