Fraser Cain of the wonderful Universe Today website is hosting the current (and next) Carnival of Space, a collection of the best blog posts about What’s Out There. I went through and read a half dozen of those posts in a row, and they’re really good. Go read it!

I like this post better. Not so much yelling and arguing. Calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean…

Hmmm, interesting,,, but the space cynics group really don’t know what’s been happening recently, as in Launch Point Technologies and their magnetic launch ring. It’s a cool idea, one in which I can detect no fault.

Was just visiting Amanda Bauer’s blog about observing in Chili, and she has this amazing photo of the milky way on there. I want to set it as my wall paper but the picture is way too small, anyone have a bigger version?
Btw, here is the picture link: http://www.kaikouranightsky.co.nz/images/milkyway.jpg

Carnival actually means ‘goodbye to meat’, but in this case I guess it means hello cotton candy!
