Phil Plait, the creator of Bad Astronomy, is an astronomer, lecturer, and author. After ten years working on Hubble Space Telescope and six more working on astronomy education, he struck out on his own as a writer. I, too, find this short film highly amusing. I do find myself somewhat disappointed that I’m not related to these guys. It would reflect favorably on my creative abilities. Of which I have none.
Just to be fair, I watched a few others of their little videos. I’m forced to question whether they are human – since consistently funny humans are more rare than hen’s teeth.
