The blog gets more visitors than is registered here. There are feeds from many places, for example, and a few thousand people have signed up via email as well. If they all came here for every post, I’d see a million visits about every two months or so.

And that’s just the blog; the rest of the site is hit a lot as well. I estimate I get about 10 million visits per year, but that’s a very rough estimate. The number of unique visitors is much smaller, of course.

While SiteMeter displays the number of visits, it does track page views as well, but you have to click the SiteMeter image to find the number of page views.

True enough, ABR.

Site meter tracks visits (as opposed to just page views). A visit goes kinda like this…

You visit BA. That’s a one. You surf five or six pages, it’s still one visit. You leave for five minutes and return and surf 4 or 5 pages. Still one visit. You leave for twenty minutes or more. You return and surf some more pages. That’s two visits.

Interestingly enough though, it’s recently disappeared from my own blog, and I can’t figure out why.

My DH has already declared that he will eventually be The Benevolent Despot. We are happy he has decided to be benevolent, so we let him continue with his plans.

But even he has not been able to find the solution to one problem I hope you will tackle.

Could you please figure out a way to bar people who are not actually passing from riding in the passing lane?
