Best trailer ever

Now that Atlantis is safely home, and I really really really really have to get back to work writing my book, I will leave everyone here with this post for the weekend (or until I feel like posting again).

This is, quite simply, the greatest movie trailer of all time. You may argue this, but you will be wrong.

I’m sure it’ll show up on YouTube soon. Maybe I’ll embed it when it does.

Oh man, this movie is going to be so bad, and I’m still gonna watch it three times in the first week. Sigh. Darn Simpsons brainwashing!

I like the last trailer the best. Homer’s little brush with pendulum physics is awesome heh. I like it when the wrecking ball hits the truck and gives off the tiniest little *tink* sound.

It’s not too bad… I can sure see there’s a LOT of budget in the graphics.

Well, it should be a good long episode to see.

    Hi Phil!

Saw you on Shane Killian’s great YouTube Bogocity feature on Evoluton v. Creation. Those were some great talking points. Saw you on Erin O’Brien’s site too. Just wanted to drop by and say keep up the great work! The Universe is an incredible place!

Sorry, can’t watch them. Apart from teaser trailers, I find that movie trailers give away far too much of the plot, special effects, and action. Once you’ve been bombarded by dozens of rapid cuts of the best parts of a movie, it definitely takes something away from the actual viewing experience of the movie when you finally get there.

If I’m in the theater and a trailer comes on for a movie I might go and see (particularly if its a comedy or action movie), then I close my eyes until it’s over.

You can’t beat going into a movie unspoiled. Try it sometime, you won’t regret it!

… does whatever a spider pig can.

I don’t think you need to worry tacitus. These trailers give away enough plot, special effects and action to fill a dozen movies, so I think the Simpsons crew are just messing with our minds.

The Simpsons are by far the greatest TV content ever created.

Gee, I kinda liked the trailer where Louis Armstrong sings “What a Wonderful World” until the Earth explodes and we’re all advised DON’T PANIC. That one had a lot more bad astronomy in it, too.
