Gee, I kinda liked the trailer where Louis Armstrong sings “What a Wonderful World” until the Earth explodes and we’re all advised DON’T PANIC. That one had a lot more bad astronomy in it, too.

I don’t think you need to worry tacitus. These trailers give away enough plot, special effects and action to fill a dozen movies, so I think the Simpsons crew are just messing with our minds.

Sorry, can’t watch them. Apart from teaser trailers, I find that movie trailers give away far too much of the plot, special effects, and action. Once you’ve been bombarded by dozens of rapid cuts of the best parts of a movie, it definitely takes something away from the actual viewing experience of the movie when you finally get there.

If I’m in the theater and a trailer comes on for a movie I might go and see (particularly if its a comedy or action movie), then I close my eyes until it’s over.

You can’t beat going into a movie unspoiled. Try it sometime, you won’t regret it!

I like the last trailer the best. Homer’s little brush with pendulum physics is awesome heh. I like it when the wrecking ball hits the truck and gives off the tiniest little *tink* sound.
