I agree, Rebecca is a natural at this and I gave her top rating. Her sample show was great. I checked out some of the other contestants and couldn’t see any real substance to their programs, at least there wasn’t anything you couldn’t get somewhere else. The only way Rebecca could lose is if the judges are a bunch of woo woo worshippers themselves and don’t want a “cynic” on board.

She does a great job and I will vote for her even though my entry in her “Momemt of Science” contest failed to earn even an honorable mention.

The “believer” she’s talking to sounds a bit like Krusty the Clown. I kept waiting for him to say “Hey orbs! Ha ha ha ha ha!”

Anyway, I also think Rebecca would make a fine host. Best of all, she’s of the youger generation (relatively speaking of course; she’s a year younger than I), and so can pass on the word of critical thinking for years to come. The world needs more people like her.

The content is wonderful, but I find the NPR format and sound horrendous–it’s too melodious and subdued. It has always put me to sleep…even in the car. Nonetheless, I’m giving her the highest vote possible!
