And after I figured that “canned wine” sounded like the worst idea ever, along come a few folks speaking of “tinned champagne”. For God’s sake, please, stop it.

I had to hold off on cutting up my Hilton Honors card on account of her. Lately, her handlers have kept her away from the media. Thank Goodness.

Phil- you feel dirty, but I feel dumb.

The objection was apparently to her promototing a product rather, not her choice of attire or preferred beverage, though she would probably get dirty looks for carrying around cans of wine to drink. (I almost posted “cans of whine”. Ack.)

She’s attractive in a “spoiled stupid little stick figure” way, but her personality and her apparent stupidity makes her completely repulsive to me.

I can’t think of one.

I kind of understand the recent trend towards tetrapack for wines, at least it won’t alter the taste like cans would.

Am I missing something here? I haven’t been able to find any picks but I thought “plaits” refered to a hair style.

I am sure that there is a “good” reason for canning wine, but on the surface it just seems so wrong.

So that’s good news for Mrs BA and for the Bad Astronomerette. She wasn’t banned for the company she was keeping, and the Plaits would be welcomed, provided they didn’t bring any tinned “champagne” with them… Why would anyone bring wine to Oktoberfest anyway? It’s like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Or Kingsford charcoal briquetts to Newcastle.

Anyone remember Plot #3 of “Are you being served?” (They only had 4 different plots, kept running through all the permutations…) Any way there’s a celebration for some reason (wedding, retirement, birthday, whatever), and the store always springs for a large can of Japanese tinned champagne, looks like a large can of V8. Someone once told me there really is such a thing. As a skeptic though, I don’t believe it.

One of my goals in life is to go to Munich for Oktoberfest. Oh if only I had money…

I can’t understand the fame around that woman. Her body isn’t even an excuse. There’s many with her body out there and in the said many there are plenty with brains.
