Good news everyone! Futurama comes back November 27!
W00t!
Until then, enjoy this nice helping of Bachelor Chow this interview with Futurama writer David X Cohen, and check out the IMDB page for the movie, Bender’s Big Score.
I see Morbo will be back, too. Oh man, I cannot wait!

Superb!
I wish I had an ‘X’ as my middle initial.

I have so much joy inside of me right now I dunno how I can express it. Maybe I could just get drunk. It will help me function.
YAY FOR BENDER! Can’t wait for this month to end now!

I’m pretty sure David X. Cohen gave himself that “X,” in order to distinguish himself from another David Cohen in animation. So go for it, Christian!
I am so stoked. Here’s the best part: “A full-length 22-minute episode of ‘Everybody Loves Hypnotoad’.” ALL HAIL THE HYPNOTOAD!!!!

Oh sweet merciful crap…
That’s just AWESOME! Is it a sign of a serious addiction should I take a vacation day for the lone purpose of buying this DVD as soon as Target opens, and then taking it home and watching it over and over?

Heh heh heh. I’m looking forward to this. Is the resurrection of good cartoons indicative of networks actually paying some sort of attention to fans nowadays?

Centipede, in fact, yes. Read the interview with DXC.

Pre-ordered it weeks ago. Now we just have to wait for the series to start up again in 2008.

I wonder what the Writers Guild of America strike will do to this return; perhaps animated comedy doesn’t rate a WGA writer and the return will not be hampered…
November 7th, 2007 at 11:37 am
I think all 4 of the DVD movies are written already, so the strike shouldn’t affect them.

Me Manwich!
Okay, Phil gave a great line out of the series. Don’t know if this is his favorite line or not, but without a doubt my favorite line is from Fry: “That’s the saltiest thing I ever tasted, and I once ate a big heapin’ bowl of salt!”
There are just so many great lines from Futurama. That’s what makes the show so enjoyable. The depth of the humor is awesome. Of course, the shallow humor is also great. The writers really did a bang-up job of making me laugh on so many levels.
On the subject of great cartoons that passed on too soon…Phil, have you watched the 26 episodes of Cowboy Bebop yet? Adult Swim just ran through the series again last month.

Sweet moses, I thought my stats counter had broke – thanks for the link, Phil.
We can only hope that the episode of “Everybody Loves Hypnotoad” is an early one, it’s been going downhill since season 3.

bring back the hypnotoad!

[...] The series on pareidolias is particularly humorous. In fact, pretty much everything on BA is great fun (including the sometimes harrowing love confessions for all sorts of pop-culture heroes). [...]
