Yes I also didn’t know you would be in Ft. McMurray till kind of last minute. I would have gone if I had known sooner. Its a bit of a drive from Edmonton though and I was having trouble finding a hotel. Please go next year.

Dear Dr BA,

I would normally have said “I have no idea how you could spend 14 hours going from colorado to california.” ( and maybe you didn’t start in Colorado ).

But, I spent all of Tuesday and wednesday getting from Ft.McMurray to Edmonton and back again and between hotels, airlines, cabs, and bad weather I can only share a commiserate AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!

On another note, your visits do seem to be poorly advertised. For instance I did not find out you were coming to Ft.Mac until you were already here. And even if i have to drop ten grand on a cruise cabin I will hold you to your promise to return here next year.

Boy THAT sure does suck , I had no idea you were coming and I’m in Chico , a scant 45 minutes away. If I had known in Advance I could’ve gotten off of work to see it.
