It's a shame the video auto-loads, without an option to stop it. It makes the page load really slowly, so I won't be bookmarking his page there. I prefer simple links to videos, not embedded videos that start downloading immediately when you visit the page, whether you want them to or not. I'm sure he's got some good content, though.

Hmm... I didn't have any problem embedding the video at my
blog. I just hit the little + at the top right corner of the video and copied the embed code.

I recall seeing Penn & Teller getting stuck into the Dalai Lama & Mother Teresa on TV recently here in Oz.

Cojones they do NOT lack.

Good manners and respect for other peoples opinions on the other hand ...

I don't know. Sometimes I find them very funny if I'm in the right (cynical, cheesed-off, angry) mood.

Other times they make me cringe ... :-(

&

All the time they come across as very full of themselves .. and very mean and contemptous of what other folks think.

Wow. It takes some cojones to name one of your kids "Zoltan"! Is he ever gonna suffer whenever there's a superhero or superspy in town!

This makes me smile.
I was an avid listener of Penn Radio--I never missed a show, and still carry some around on my iPod--and, though I don't always agree with Penn's opinions, it's always great to hear them. Once I actually get off of my iPod and onto my computer, these videos will be one of the first things that I check out. :)

"The last one cleared up something I’ve always wondered about him, i.e. whether or not he’s married. Now that he’s affirmed it, I have to wonder what sort of woman could put up with that ego. Unless, of course, it’s all a shtick and his off-screen personality is totally different."

I think he puts on the egotistical facade has an Appeal to Authority. It makes his arguments sound all the more poignant.

Every interview I've seen with him makes him seem like a totally down to Earth and cool guy.

Any insight into this, Phil? :D

Those were funny. I knew that we had similar outlooks and opinions, but I didn't realize how closely our political beliefs aligned!

One thing, and maybe someone said something to him after the first few, it is really annoying to watch him touching his face all the time. I noticed he did it less on the later ones. That sort of body language tells me that he really doesn't believe what he's saying, or he's really uncomfortable saying it. Somehow I can't believe Penn is uncomfortable saying anything!

I don't know, have you seen the 'Penn Says' about Dr. Phil? Apparently Penn thinks you are pure cynical and are the biggest scumbag in the world.

Oh, wait. . .

Forget Showtime. I keep telling them via email and message boards I'd pay $1 and episode for Dexter. I'm not paying $15 a month to see one show. Period. Instead I wait and rent the DVDs, and they get about 0.001 cents out of it.

And forget all that too:
