Colbert mocks me again

First he says the Moon Landings were fake, and then when I put him on notice about it, he "suddenly" does a flip flop.

And now Stephen Colbert mocks the meteorite market. He even calls them "meteors", and mispronounces "achondrites"!

Oh, Mr. Colbert! Must I make yet another video which will be misinterpreted by hundreds of clueless YouTube n00bs?

Arghhhhhhh!!!! I can’t download videos from Comedy Central for some reason. Anyone else have that problem?

BA, I’d love to see you on The Colbert Report.

Hey, now you have a source to borrow a spacesuit glove to slap him with!

Phil, I loved that bit he did. I’m glad there’s a video of it, so I can send it off to a friend of mine who is a meteoriticist. In fact, said friend graced my holiday haul with a few choice selections from the meteorite market.

I hope the stocks don’t go down too much!!! :)

Phil, you’re not going to get on the show until you have something to plug — i.e. your book. :)

(BTW: Given the subject of your book — all the scary things in space that could annihilate us — I suspect you have a good chance of getting on when you start your publicity tour. Sounds like a perfect “science will kill us all” subject for Colbert. But before then? Nah.)

“We prefer to be called “Celestial Americans” – priceless! And yes, Colbert’s people need to book the BA on his show ASAP. I’d watch that for a quarter! (Props to C.M. Kornbluth, Not Paul Verhoeven)

Phil, your mistake here is taking Colbert for a journalist (?!). He’s a comedian/agent provacateur. Those whose political leanings match his, being those who don’t put critical thought to a lot of use, tend to consider his musings factual, and therefore believe him to be a journalist. Just consider it an honor to be mocked by him. In fact, I’m envious already. ;-)

Fred, Fred, Fred…are you new here? :)

    Pssst…Phil’s in on the joke…

    Phil:
Tacitus is right, talk to your publisher about doing a stint on Colbert’s show to promote the book. It’d be a hoot, you & Colbert would have -SO- much fun!

    Doctor,

I’m with everyone else on this one. Pitch your book on the show, and maybe you can make the sky itself the top threat to America… unless Colbert ties it in with the Space Bear conspiracy!

I think Neil Tyson was on his show after his “Death by Black Hole” book came out. Was hilarious.

    Either Colbert or Stewart.

I saw that clip on the Report and immediately thought of you. I’d love to see you interviewed by either Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert – it’d be a riot (and informative!)

While watching the Colbert video I noticed the ‘Dr. Phil Plait is cool….Really cool’ video. When did you start using DrBuzz0 as an alias Phil?

Well what do you expect from Colbert. After all, he IS Huckabee’s confirmed running mate.
